Russian federal service carrying out sanitary and epidemiological state supervision (Rospotrebnadzor) has declared that in order to continue studying in Russia foreign citizens have to pass a Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test for coronavirus twice - not earlier than three days before the arrival and within 72 hours after entering the territory of Russia. This applies to students coming from countries that already have air traffic with Russia.
After entering the country foreign students should stay self-isolated until they receive the results of a laboratory test for coronavirus infection. And then, after obtaining two negative test results foreign citizens can start studying.
Medical documents confirming a negative result for COVID-19 should be submitted in Russian or English.
