Delegation of young Russian diplomats visited Russian Center for Science and Culture in Bethlehem

The delegation of young Russian diplomats headed by Valery Egoshkin, Russian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary and the Deputy Chairman of the Russian Diplomatic Association, visited Russian Center for Science and Culture in Bethlehem. This visit was part of the educational “Young Diplomats” program. It was organized with the assistance of the Russian Diplomatic Association, the Diplomatic Academy of Russian Foreign Ministry and the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO).

Alexander Sorokin told visitors about the history, objectives, daily routine of the representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo in Palestine.

Students of the RCSC's educational athletic courses for children performed several Latin and national Palestinian dances. Members of the delegation, MGIMO students, took part in the concert and played the Sevastopol Waltz.

At the end of the meeting, Alexander Sorokin gave the anthology of Algerian fairytales as a present to the library of the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Bethlehem. He had compiled the anthology during his service as diplomat to this country.
