A friendly meeting between Russian and British young mathematicians was held at the RCSC in London

A May friendly meeting was held at Rossotrudnichestvo between the teams of the Russian School of Mathematics and Programming and the leading private schools of Great Britain, known for their deep mathematical education, the St Paul's school and the St. Paul's Girls school.

The competition was held in the format of mathematical battles. The teams were given eight tasks and an hour and a half to solve them, after which, by turn, one team exhibited a rapporteur presenting the solution, and the second - an opponent controlling its correctness and completeness. Both teams of the Russian school performed well, having won in a tense struggle.

The friendly meeting was the first step in the preparation of the mathematical team championship, which the Russian School of Mathematics and Programming organizes for all British schools at the Rossotrudnichestvo office, in March 2018.
